May Madness, Mission Raceway Park
Mon, 06/08/2009 - 08:38 — Jeff GrantBullet Racing once again competed locally at Mission Raceway Park in the May Madness Weekend on May 30th and 31st.
It was a nice, hot weekend, and much fun was had.
Steve Paquette raced his beast of a Porsche 993 twin turbo, but had to retire after a single lap with a clutch problem. (I guess harnessing 800+ horsepower can be a little bit tricky!).
We rented two of our Porsche 996 Koni cars to two local drivers, Michael and Bryan. They both did a great job, and I think had a lot of fun.
We're looking forward to the next local race weekend, "Stars, Stripes, and Maple Leafs", on the 20-21 of June.

Vancouver Car Show, Bullet Racing, Roberto Luongo, and the BC Children's Hospital
Thu, 04/02/2009 - 07:01 — Jeff Grant
Hello there everyone-
Just wanted to let you know that Bullet Racing has a shared booth with the BC Children's Hospital Foundation at this year's car show.
We've got one of our race cars there, as well as a little multimedia presentation of our road to the 24 hours of Daytona.
As well, Roberto Luongo has provided the Children's Hospital with a signed jersey to give away.
In order to get a chance at winning the jersey, all you have to do is stop off at the booth and make a donation to the BC Children's Hospital, in ANY amount. At the end of the auto show, we'll be making a random draw of the entries, and will be announcing the winner on this site.
Yes, that means that if you donate $1, you have a shot at winning the draw.
A few members of the PCA will also be assisting in manning the booth, so please feel free to drop by and say "hi".
Hope to see you there!
...jeff
PS: I haven't seen the jersey yet, so the picture shown above may not be representative of the one in the draw.

We Went, We Raced, We Persevered.
Wed, 02/11/2009 - 18:59 — Jeff GrantIt's been a couple of weeks since we competed in the 2009 Rolex 24hrs of Daytona, but it's almost taken that long for everyone to catch their breath and let the experience sink in.
Long story short, we finished the race.
It's hard to imagine that such a short, seemingly inconsequential sentence as that can have such a huge sense of accomplishment attached to it, but it does.
